 | Rochester, Brooklyn Make Deal Tuesday, December 20th, 2033 Both sides appear content with the trade finalized today that will send 32-year-old LF Sun Yi to the Brooklyn Superbas, while the Rochester Redbirds will receive 24-year-old C Sang-cheol Ki. "This is a move that filled a few gaps in our roster," said José Alonso, Redbirds general manager. For his part, the Superbas GM said the trade was made "in the best interest of our organization's future." BNN analysts reported that on paper the trade seemed to be a plus for both ball clubs. The players involved are expected to join their new teams for the next scheduled game. Yi has a lifetime .268 batting average and .334 on-base percentage in his 1248-game career with 1013 hits and 199 home runs. |   |
