 | SL1 Player of the Week Named Monday, August 1st, 2033 23-year-old Jason Bowers made a few Altadena headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Sub League 1 officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 24 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Bowers collected 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and scored 4 runs. In 80 games Bowers is hitting .334 this season with 104 hits, 9 home runs, 50 RBIs, 30 walks, .395 OBP and has scored 40 runs. |   |
