Sub League 1 Announces #1 Player Monday, September 24th, 2029 Kuniaki Miyazaki has been around Japanese Baseball League long enough to know that you don't win Player of the Week awards by being lucky. The Niigata Cardinals hurler used his well-honed skill to put up superlative numbers last week against Sub League 1 hitters to take home the prize. Miyazaki won 2 while striking out 6 in 14 innings. He also logged an ERA of 0.00 and held opposing hitters to a .200 average. To this point in the season, Miyazaki shows a 13-8 record, 31 starts, 198 innings, 131 strikeouts and a 2.68 ERA. |
