Wednesday, November 2nd, 2033
The Reliever of the Year Award goes to the Sub League 2 reliever who put forward the strongest season.

This season, that player was Yoshida Matsumoto of the Okazaki Tornado, who was above all his peers in 2033.

"I just feel like the ball was doing what I wanted it to this year and I was in command most nights out there," he said. "Some days you don't have your best stuff, but I didn't have too many of those days this year."

On the season, Matsumoto pitched 73.2 innings, with 75 strikeouts and an ERA of 1.95. He also had 37 saves in 68 relief appearances.

He received 8 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Sumitomo Abe of the Ageo Revolt finished second in voting, while Hisanobu Yamamoto of the Sendai Hopes finished third.
