Quakes Win Tight Sub League 1 Race
Thursday, August 11th, 2033
The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes have silenced their critics, backed up those who believed in them and won the Sub League 1.

"You always think you've got a chance to win the division, but until you get it done you never really know how things are going to play out," said reliever Tommy Shaw. "I think we're all grateful to get the chance to vie for the Round 1."

It is the 7th division crown for the franchise and manager Todd Moser said in a sporting landscape where you are judged by what you've most recently accomplished, "it feels incredibly good to be at the top of the pile."
Gauchos Come up Short of Playoffs
Thursday, August 11th, 2033
Duarte Gauchos manager Rafael Rey said his club came "agonizingly close" to making the playoffs. But close won't be good enough this year, as the Gauchos have now been officially ousted from contention.

Duarte last appeared in the postseason in 2024. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 17 times in their 23-year history.
