 | Ridin' High: Rúbio Hits for Cycle Saturday, June 25th, 2033 It was a quite a day for César Rúbio at Bulls Ballpark. He hit for the cycle, belting out every kind of hit there is -- a single, double, triple and home run. The Durham first baseman accomplished the rare feat during his team's 3-1 victory over the Duarte Gauchos. "I never even thought about hitting for the cycle and what do you know, I did it," he told BNN reporters at the postgame press conference. "The cycle really doesn't matter to me, it's the win that's important." Rúbio went 4-for-4 in the game with 2 runs batted in and 2 runs scored. César Rúbio singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.
