 | Des Moines's Lópes Acclaimed Best SL2 Hitter Friday, July 1st, 2033 Armando Lópes is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Des Moines right fielder joined that select company when the Sub League 2 announced the results of June's voting. Lópes totaled 33 hits, 10 walks, 1 home run, 15 RBIs and 17 runs scored last month to put together a .367 batting average and .436 on-base percentage. So far this year Lópes is batting .310 with 1 home run, 30 RBIs and 43 runs scored. |   |
