 | Watanabe on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, July 18th, 2033 So far in his young career, Sadaharu Watanabe has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Sub League 1 in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Orlando Samurai second baseman hit at a torrid .455 clip as he collected 10 hits in 22 at-bats, no home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year Watanabe has hit at a .284 clip with 61 hits, 2 home runs, 36 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |   |
